PPD class to expectant mothers

At the ItÅ«Å«ra Family Foundation, we believe in empowering mothers with the knowledge they need before and after childbirth. One key area we focus on is **postpartum depression (PPD)**, which affects **1 in 5 women**. By educating expectant mothers on what to expect during and after birth, we help them recognize the signs of PPD early on. This proactive approach allows them to seek support and get the help they need, ensuring a healthier emotional recovery for both mother and baby. Knowledge is power—together, we can build a supportive environment where moms thrive.

New Moms PPD class

At the Itūūra Family Foundation, we know that repetition helps important lessons truly sink in. That's why, after childbirth, we follow up with mothers several months later to check how they are coping and provide ongoing support. During these follow-ups, we assess if any moms may be experiencing postpartum depression (PPD), which affects **1 in 5 women**. If identified, we offer the necessary help and resources to manage it, ensuring that every mother feels supported and equipped for her journey toward emotional well-being. We're here for you, every step of the way.
